Assessment of Condition of Machines

Opus Operandi

We adhere to the old, good, simple
and quite often forgotten business philosophy that the most effective form of advertising is to satisfy our clients.

We not only pinpoint,
we also effectively resolve
engineering problems.

Machine Condition Monitoring

Machine condition monitoring provides information about the health of a machine.  It allows to detect early warning signs
and helps to stop unscheduled outages, optimize machine performance, and reduce repair time and maintenance costs.
The diagram below shows a typical example of the warning signs.

The diagram above shows that vibrations are the first warning sign that a machine is prone to failure.  This warning sign
can provide 3 months of lead time before the actual failure date.  Monitoring and analyses of vibration allow to predict
the failure early and schedule proper maintenance.

The machine condition monitoring by measurements and analyses of vibration is applicable to a very wide range
of industrial plant, including machine tools, steel, board and paper mills, chemical plants, hospitals, cement ovens,
compressors, diesel engines, air-conditioners, ventilation fans and power stations.

Depending on a particular situation, Pollution Control Consultancy and Design (PCCD)
provides measurements and analyses of vibration that allow to assess the condition of machines using
the high quality equipment, viz.
